Environmental Policy
Here at Connaught Flooring, we understand that we have a duty to the Environment. As an industry leader in Raised Flooring Solutions, we pride ourselves not only on the delivery of our projects, but also in the way we conduct ourselves to achieve our goals. We challenge ourselves to continually improve upon what we already have in place (ISO 14001:2015), to reduce our carbon footprint and implement environmentally sound solutions.
In 2015 we decided to cement this commitment and hired our own dedicated Environmental & Sustainability Manager to look after all aspects of Environmental matters within the company. A number of changes have already been implemented to make us Greener than ever before!
Our efforts to minimise any detrimental impact that our business activities have on the Environment start at the beginning in the Tender stage. This effort continues through the lifecycle of the Project, from Procurement, Supply & Install and of course the Back Office operations behind it all. We look at ways to improve everything, from the light bulbs we use in the office, right through to Waste Management, Staff Training and correct CoSHH product handling and disposal.
