Raised Access Flooring
Connaught has established itself as a leader in the supply and installation of raised access flooring across the UK with an excellent market reputation. Since inception in 1992 Connaught Access Flooring has been a name associated with quality in the raised flooring sector.
As we are fully independent we can work with whatever raised flooring system is specified or allows us to work with the client to find the system and solution which best fits the need of their project.
Knauf Integral GIFA Floor
The GIFA floor system is a partial-access raised floor system manufactured by Knauf using natural gypsum based calcium sulphate.
GIFA is ideal for raised floor areas requiring continuous finishes such as sheet vinyl or hard finishes such as stone and ceramic. Connaught has successfully installed the GIFA floor product in a number of Toilet Cores, Lift Lobbies, Reception Areas, Restaurant and Break out areas. We were also recently asked by Knauf in Germany to install areas of GIFA floor for them next to a traditional raised floor for testing they carried out with the Stone Federation.
Acoustic Flooring
Connaught uses a number of products which are both cost effective and ideal solutions to reducing airborne and impact noise problems found in Commercial, Education and Residential environments.
We offer both traditional cradle & batten systems and fully accessible pedestal based solutions. In both applications the high performance acoustic sound isolation pads will resist compression under load and provide a continuing level of sound insulation.
Specialist Finishes
The range of raised access flooring products and solutions available continues to grow; one key area of growth has been using pre-bonded finished raised access floor panels.
The use of these factory bonded finishes now means we can supply a finished solution to reception areas, lift cores, service areas or even complete open plan office areas. This not only removes an additional trade from site in the construction process but gives the end user the ability to have full access to the void created by the raised floor.
Supply Only
Complimenting our Installation side Connaught operative a successful Supply Only division. Through our increased buying power from larger raised access flooring installations we maintain healthy levels of stock.
We can provide competitive rates for a host of different raised access flooring systems and sundry items often available for next day deliveries.
Data Centres & Comms Rooms
Connaught has been successfully supplying and installing raised access flooring to Data Centres since inception in 1992.
Although we have delivered numerous large Data Centre installations we also complete a high number of smaller SER, CER and Comms Rooms for contractors and end users alike.
