Digital Realty Data Centre

Client: Digital Realty Trust
Size: 1,015m2
Contractor: Structuretone
Architect: Nicholas Webb Architects plc

Project Details:

We carried out the supply and installation of a heavy grade raised access floor to Digital Realty Trust Data Centre in Redhill. The main installation of the raised floor was complete in two weeks. The panels were supplied with pre-bonded Polyflor Anti-Static Steel Grey 5030 vinyl.

The pedestal bases were fixed to the sub floor with adhesive and then mechanically fixed with four fixings per pedestals.

All pedestals were nickel plated to prevent the formation of zinc whiskers and the under structure was further supported with bolt on stringers.

Connaught also carried out the installation of flooring to the corridor outside the Data Hall and included two ramps down the sub floor. Attendance was given to all Mechanical, Electrical and Data Cabling Services installations.

Contract Duration: 3 months

Connaught are also very proud to have secured and completed additional works at the Redhill site with Mclaren Construction.
