Digital Realty Data Centre Phase 2

Client: Digital Realty Trust
Size: 1,000m2
Contractor: Mclaren Construction
Architect: Nicholas Webb Architects plc

Project Details:

Supply and installation of a heavy grade raised access floor to Digital Realty Trust Data Centre in Redhill. The main installation of the raised floor to the data hall of some 500m2 was complete in one week. The panels were supplied with factory pre-bonded Polyflor Anti-Static Steel Grey 5030 anti static vinyl.

The pedestal bases were fixed to the sub floor with adhesive and mechanically fixed with four fixings per pedestals.

All pedestals were nickel plated to prevent the formation of zinc whiskers and the under structure was further supported with bolt on stringers.

We also carried out the installation of raised access flooring to the corridor outside the Data Hall, UPS Battery Room and Office areas.

Contract Duration: 3 months

This was our second project on the Redhill site having already completed a previous phase with Structuretone
